I have several clients who tanned while pregnant and their kids are just fine. My doctor said it's just like if you use a hot tub or sauna, you don't want your core temp to go over 98.6, so as long as you don't stay in too long or go into a bed that been runnung all day you should be fine.

Our daughter's doctor told her after the first trimester there she could tan too as long as she did not have complications, so I would not worry about it if I was you. The baby is healthy, lots to be thankful for right there. You did the smart thing and asked the doctor.
