Tanning Salons Tips and Suggestions

I just want to say, there are MANY horror stories about tanning salons, on both sides, the employees may have and the customers may have. I would just like to say a few things so new tanners don't get worried. I know some of them would worry me.
If you are anew tanner, just thinking about looking for the idea salon, remember some things:
Watch the salon from afar: Do they have a busy tanning schedule? If they are one of the busy ones they are probably clean in general.
Don't be shy, ask if you can go see their tanning room before deciding. I did, until I got my own bed at home.
Even once you purchase a tanning membership still keep an open eye out. What I mean is, watch how they clean their beds. When they go in there do they just spray and wipe down immediately every time they clean the beds? The directions for the sanitizers is to spray and wipe after about 10 minutes. That way it kills the viruses, even Hep and others that we don't want to think about.
Before I got my own bed (which you can get a good used commercial bed cheap, I paid $850 for a $10,000 bed, sanitized it, and it was up and ready, the commercial ones are better than the home models), I use to get eye infections from going to salons. They were clean in every way except they did not let the sanitizer sit long enough to do their job. So they were clean, they were not sanitized.
Also, a good salon owner will make sure you can get your questions answered to make sure you do not end up burnt. You do not want to burn, some say it is the only way you can get a tan, that is bull. I was always a hard person to get a tan in the natural sun, but in a tanning bed I got a tan, a good tan, and did not burn first.
Remember to wait to shower long enough before and after tanning, don't tan right after showering and don't shower right after tanning.
Always use plenty of moisturizers and never tan without tanning lotion.
And if you are not sure of something, ask someone who knows, ask the person you trust to have a membership at. Research what you need to know, if you are knowledgeable you will get the best results.
One tip, if you see a bag in a tanning room, do not touch it....let the tanning attendant get some gloves on and then investigate it, you may not want to know what is in that bag!!
