Tanning Pregnant

Tanning Pregnant: I work at a tanning salon and I am six months pregnant. I so badly want to go tanning but am confused as to all of the stories. My boss told me that it wont affect my baby at all due to the fact that it doesn't go through your skin any thicker than a piece of paper. The biggest concern is getting in and out of the bed, so then the stand up bed was recommended for me to tan in if I was to. Only going a couple times a week for 5 minutes a session and then building up like you would any other with the fan running and having a bottle of water. People may think its wrong.
but its a personal choice they haven't done enough studies to show that its bad or good.
does that make me a bad mom to want to go tanning while pregnant? Some people do it and they're babies are fine?
