Do not listen to the comment about a bad economy affecting the tanning salon business. Its hard times like this when people want to feel good about themselves and look good. Tanning trends across the country show an increase in sales and customers. If there are already a lot of salons in your area, you must have something that sets you apart. Quality customer service and cleanliness are the two most important aspects. Frequently changing your bulbs as well as continually carrying new lotions to keep interest are beneficial as well. Around here they are a dime a dozen and closing cause of the economy. I think it is too risky right now. My friend had one for several years and just closed due to the economy.
