To moisturize your skin, olive oil, honey or yogurt will actually help. They clean out the pores on your face with no synthetics and then they proceed to retain the natural moisture in your skin. They have never been found to irritate the skin and whether oily or dry, it can be used to provide you with a beautiful smooth texture after removing. Basic eggs can be whipped up and applied to your face for approximately 30 minutes to make a great face mask.

A cold potato slice or cucumber can be applied to the eye to reduce puffiness. A favorite food to eat is the banana. But take the banana and mash it up to form a paste and it produces a moisturizing mask.

If you mix honey, some olive oil and mashed avocado, this will product another paste that is a great mask also.

Olive oil, which is a heaven sent oil, is not only healthy for you inside, but out too. It is actually a wonderful oil to apply to the skin. It works great on rough heels and on those rough elbows. When used in the bath, it provides an all over moisturizer. For your hair when it is dry, use the oil heated and apply to your hair and leave on for 30 minutes under a cap or plastic bag. Doing this will bring the luster and moisture back into your hair. And don't forget your lips. If they are dry, especially in cold and winter months, apply the olive oil to your lips.

We often let our hands go by the wayside. For dry hands, you can take sugar and oil and mix it together. Use this as a scrub and after you rinse it off, you will be so surprised at the texture of your skin on your hands.
