I always wear a very skimpy bikini. Here's why:
I can see how tan I am really getting.
I love the look of tan lines; peek-a-boo!
It looks like I have a bikini on when I am naked;
My husband likes that.
I get to wear my favorite bikini without the
embarrassment of wearing it in public.
It looks more natural with the lines.
I don't ever want sun-sensitivity in the sensitive
areas (if you know what I mean)
It looks 'fake' without the lines.

you can be naked if you want to. Most people do because they don't want the tan lines. I personally tan naked. It's really up to you. You can wear or not wear what ever you want.

I wear a thong most of time, but sometimes completly nude.I feel that you should not get as much sun on your private parts as the rest of your body.

It's entirely up to you. If you don't mind having tanning lines or can cover the tan lines up, you can wear your under garments without problems. If you don't want any tanning lines, you'll need to do your tanning in the buff.
