Be careful in solarium!
by: Infrasauna

I think that 15 minutes is too long for beginners. I also think, that people must to use professional cosmetic for solarium, it is necessary to reach a good color and protect your skin. You have to start “step by step” using the solarium. First time the time should be not longer than 5 minutes and next session 1 minute more…. If you are interesting in cosmetic for solarium: you can have a look : http://www.solarium.by.
My opinion, that workers must to provide the clients with information how long to stay in solarium. I think, better to advise a little bit less than more.

Something is wrong there
by: Anonymous

Well, I use to go to tanning salons in Europe and it never happened to me that I burned my skin.
I always use lotion that I bought at the salon.
I think that the people who work at the salon have to know how long you should stay inside!
I burned my skin so bad, I did not sleep for last four nights, I can't wear clothes and I had to pay people to do my job in my daycare...
I went to the saloon and the Vietnamese lady told me that I am just to white, and I already have some tan from sun... Anyway, this is not right and there must be something wrong with that solarium, I burned my front side only, not the back???

Hello. First, you should be using a step 1 which is going to help build a base-tan. Then, once you have achieved your base-tan you can then use a step 2 which is an accelerator which will increase your tan from the plateau that you experience once your base-tan is achieved. Also, 15 mins is a long time for tanners, especially beginners. Depending on the bed, when the bulbs were changed and your skin type, you should be starting a tanning session around 8 mins in a 100 watt bed.

To create a base-tan, you will want to commit to going tanning every other day or every 2 days for maximum results. Once you have reached your base-tan plateau, you can decrease your time and increase bed strength.

I use to work in a tanning salon and we did not recommend using a lotion like that on your first time.
