I totally understand about not being able to reach your back and not wanting streaks... I've learned from LOTS of experience NOT to lotion your back when using a bed that you lay down in; the bulbs are closer to your skin and will penetrate them more, giving you better color - I use intense bronzers (i wrote the original review) and have NEVER had a streaking problem or uneven tone when NOT lotioning my back... I also have a natural medium olive skin tone (half asian, half white) and when tan am a medium/dark complexion and the front and back always match :)

I used it last year and it is what they call a "pure" tanning lotion which means it has no bronzers and is, in my opinion, a great product. I'm not into the bronzers as I cannot reach my back and don't want to appear uneven and prefer to have a tan without a "fake" color on my skin.
However, this year I have been tanning without using anything and amazingly enough I am brown as a bear. I am going tomorrow to purchase something though as I have dry skin anyway and I definitely think it would be beneficial for me to use a product if not for the tanning benefit but for the moisture it will add back into my skin.

i swear by the ceremony.. I LOVE IT!!! and it gives you a smell that you can go in public after you tan without worry of smelling like burnt skin ! LOVE <3
