Fake Tanning Product and Equipment Recommendations...Fake Tanning - What Is The Best Fake Tan A.K.A. Spray Tan? Many salons offer self tanning products and services such as self tanning sprays, airbrush spray tanning booths, and custom airbrushing. But what is the best spray tanning product or service? Should I get a fake spray tan at a salon or should I do it myself with sunless products? 
These questions are not easy to answer because it depends on a few things. For example, if you want to go to a tanning salon who offers airbrush tanning or spray tan services, what kind of airbrush tanning systems do they use, or what fake tanning products do they offer? If you live in town with a low traffic tanning salon, be weary because you don't' want to get sprayed by an inexperienced employee with little or no airbrush tanning training. Also, if their spray tanning services are not being uses frequently then it's likely the airbrush tanning solution (the stuff that you are sprayed with) is old. Spray tan (airbrush) solution can go bad. And the longer it sits the less effective it is. Also, a salon with airbrush tanning systems that are not cleaned properly can also be a problem. Your best bet is to check out the salon and ask them questions. Check a site like Yelp.com for reviews. If they have good reviews, and they have training, and there is good traffic for their spray tan and custom airbrush services, then you are probably going to get good results and get excellent results. 
Our preferred tanning salon best fake tan spray tanning booth is Mystic Tan. They have been working specifically on sunless spray tanning products and services since the beginning. VersaSpa is supposed to be pretty good, but we are sticking to Mystic Tan for now. However, if you prefer a custom airbrush tan, the Apollo Whisper Mist is an excellent aibrush tanning system and will help you get the best fake tanning results. Make sure the sunless airbrush tanning solution is top quality and fresh (same with the Mystic Tan booth)... Even the best spray tanning system is useless without a good airbrush tanning solution (the stuff you are sprayed with). Go with California Tan spray tanning solution. Norvell is said to be good quality as well. You can also get a good spray tan at home. But you have to do it yourself. These days you can get really good self tanning products. Our favorites are Mystic Tan Perfection which I think is called Mystic Tan Sunless Face and Body Tanning Spray™ now. California Tan also has an equally as good self tanning spray tan called, California Tan Sunless Tinted Self Tanner Spray 6.0 fl oz. Some of the newest self tanning products are coming in cream form. It can be easier to apply and clean up (if you get the right one).
