Facial Tanners and What To Consider When It Comes To Face Tanning Machines...

Facial tanners produce ultraviolet radiation (UV light), and have grown in popularity because of their relatively inexpensive cost. They are very portable, and give the consumer a never before seen ability to acquire a tan in their own home. Although affordable and compact the Facial Tanner is limited in application.

But face tanners and indoor tanning has come a long way in the last several years. Contrary to popular belief tanning is not just for cosmetic looks. Tanning has been proven to have many health benefits as well. With all the many different products on the market it's often times overwhelming. There are so many different expert theories in the tanning industry it is only expected that there would be a certain amount of confusion.

Studies show that indoor tanning can affect your mental state positively. Many people feel a sense of happiness they didn't have prior to tanning, and they felt more relaxed as well.

Indoor tanning and using face tanners are said to be good at treating seasonal affective disorder (SAD). This is also known as winter blues or depression. Studies show that SAD increases in the winter, and decreases in the summer.

Indoor tanning is said to act as a sun block of sorts. A base tan supposedly can act as an SPF 2-4. But don't use that as an excuse not to use sunblock because sunblock is very effective at reducing sun damage.

And a face tanning machine or tanning bed have been very affective in combating acne.

There are many more benefits to using a face tanner and indoor tanning. But which one is right for you? I can't point you to a study that says to use one over the other. But maybe you should consider price and space. A facial tanning is much cheaper than an indoor tanning bed, and requires less maintenance and space.

Facial tanners are limited in the fact that they can only be used to tan the face. They allow the consumer to concentrate on areas of the face that are difficult to tan evenly. This however is not its only use. Although less commonly seen, face tanning machines are also used in the treatment of Acne and other skin disorders. Here again the facial tanners cost effective price and compact size has allowed the consumer to apply it to their particular needs.

Facial Tanners are massively produced by several different companies worldwide. They come in all different shapes and sizes, and all very in price range. You can pick up a Facial Tanner on the market today for as little as 100 dollars, or as much and 1000 dollars depending on your particular needs.

The higher end market place is often times influenced by popularity rather than performance. This however is going to have to be a personal decision. All Facial tanners on the market today are for the most part comparable in performance. Simply meaning one is only better than the other based on individual opinion. You should consider the reputation of the company, and your personal budget to make an educated decision on the one that is right for you.

Why use a face tanner or do any kind of indoor tanning, whether in a salon or at home?

Throughout many years of study it has been found that sun exposure has many benefits to our health. When we are exposed to the sun's Ultra Violet light are skin absorbs this light very aggressively. This light then causes a chemical chain reaction in our bodies that produces Vitamin D. This vitamin has loads of positive effect in the body. It has been proven to increase bone strength, and increases our body's absorption rate of calcium. It helps us fight off gum disease, and can also help in the treatment of several medical disorders such as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), Acne, and Insomnia.

Unfortunately our Sun may not provide sufficient sunlight year-round. This has directly influenced the tanning industry, and is the underlining cause of the broad range of tanning products we have on the market today. As described above, one of these products that has been growing in popularity is facial tanners.

If you are not sure whether facial tanners or light therapy is what you need be sure to ask your doctor.

Do not use this article as medical advice and do not make a decision on a face tanning machine, light therapy, or indoor tanning bed until you get the advice of a doctor.
