Extreme Makeover Heads Over To Royal Tan And Spa...

Have you been watching Extreme Makeover on ABC? It’s a reality TV program that

takes women who want to have a full makeover from head to toe, and transforms them into amazing beauties.

On February 10th, 2005 they aired the show from Santa Rosa California.

So what’s the big deal?

Of all the salons in Sonoma (Santa Rosa and Petaluma are just two cities in Sonoma), Extreme-Makeover chose Royal Tan And Spa for a UV FREE Mystic Tan!

It all happened so fast…

According to Angie Maroevich owner of Royalty and Spa in Petaluma, she received a call from Cheryl Brown, one of the ladies who will be on the Extreme makeover program. She heard about Royal Tan and Spa from a friend.

Origninally she was calling around to different salons and

she spoke to one of the salon's Tanning Consultants about coming in and doing the Mystic Tan. Cheryl, one of the show's participant's, mentioned that they were in a hurry and that they just decided to go to a salon down the street for a spray tan (not Mystic Tan) which would be much more convenient for them (Santa Rosa is about 20 minutes away from my salon, without traffic).

Says Angie Maroevich, "I didn’t want to lose this opportunity and potentially have them end up with unhappy results from a lower quality UV free spray tan booth, so I asked her what salon she was thinking about going to. She mentioned a salon in Santa Rosa that has a spray tan, but it’s not Mystic Tan. After this short conversation, she decided they would make

the trek to Royal Tan And Spa and they came in the following day. Her three partners (the other three ladies in the show) followed at different times.

"One of them has already returned to do it a second time", said Angie Maroevich, "so I guess she really likes Mystic Tan! So when you see the Extreme Makeover ladies in February, and they have that nice bronzed look, think of Royal Tan And Spa in Petaluma. Sonoma doesn’t get a whole lot of publicity in regards to big-time TV, so this is kind of a big deal around here. It's a priveledge to be able to help out the Extreme Makeover program."
