That's disgusting! I didn't know people did such gross things in tanning beds. I really hope those sanitizers work.

I shuld have mentioned something else when I answered your post as well:
Things like your horror stories is why it is important for staff to sanatize properly. You are suppose to spray, let set for about 10 mins then wipe off (usually you have to spray again). This is to help prevent the spread of things like HIV and Hep, as well as other things.
This kind of thing is also why I bought my own tanning bed. I was not satisfied how the beds were cleaned, staff went in, sprayed wiped said ok you can go in now. The beds were clean, but I still got an eye infection due to bacteria which was probably from the beds. I have not had problems with my own bed. And sense our girls use it too, I have them clean it then I clean it again my way before I use it.
So to protect your customers who are unexpecting of such things and are good customers, sanatize really good at least a few times a day plus the regular cleaning after each customer. And to protect yourselves from the not so good customers wear the gloves.

Ther are some inconsiderate people in the world!! I hope you guys keep rubber gloves available to staff to put on when cleaning beds. I would if it was me, I would anyway, you never know....

I went to a salon once where the owner told me a customer had pooped in the bed and left it for her to clean. I asked which one it was cause I didn't want to lay in it even though it was sanitized. LOL
